First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal met with Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Investment Attraction at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Nicolas Faurisier, during which they discussed further support and the restoration of Ukraine’s energy sector.
Denys Shmyhal reported that France will provide Ukraine with 150 generators during February, as well as provide €71 million in financial support throughout 2026.
During the meeting, they also discussed bilateral projects and ways to develop cooperation.
