Two Ukrainian drone manufacturers: General Chereshnya and Ukrainian Defense Drone Tech have been invited to participate in the first phase of the US Department of War’s Drone Domination program.
In total, the Pentagon published a list of 25 companies invited to participate in the program.
Little is known about Ukrainian Defense Drone Tech. Still, General Chereshnya is a well-known manufacturer of FPV drones and interceptor drones.
The first phase of the Gauntlet program will begin on February 18 and end in March. The US military will test and evaluate suppliers’ products, after which prototypes will be ordered from 12 participants for $150 million.
In total, the program will have four phases, during which it is planned to spend $1.1 billion on drone evaluation.
