Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh took first place in the high jump at the Continental Tour gold-level tournament. The competition was held in the Dutch city of Hengelo.
The athlete needed a result of 1.94 meters to win. Mahuchikh cleared this bar on her second attempt and beat her closest rival from Cuba. Already the tournament winner, the Ukrainian tried to clear 2 meters, but the bar did not hold.
