Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Maguchich won “silver” at the Diamond League stage in London. She had the same result as the winner of the competition, but cleared her bars with more attempts.
Maguchich started the competition from a height of 1.93 m and completed her last attempts at 2.01 m. The same result was achieved by Australian Nicola Olislagers, the winner of the Diamond League stage in London. Yaroslava’s rival spent fewer attempts on her bars.
The bronze medalist of the tournament in London was another representative of Australia, Eleanor Patterson, who cleared a height of 1.96 m. Polish and Belarusian athlete Maria Zhodzik and Serbian representative Angelina Topic stopped at the same height.
