Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attend the G7 leaders’ summit in Italy from June 13 to 15.
Presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov said in a teleconference that it would either be online or the president would be present. The key topics will be building up further defense support, Ukraine’s air defense, developing a fighter jet coalition, and the steps needed to speed up the delivery of F-16s to the Ukrainian army. Nikiforov said Ukraine expects “key decisions” from its allies.
The Italian newspaper Ansa wrote that 15 representatives of countries and international institutions were invited to the summit.
