The documentary film “Palyanytsia” won awards at two prestigious international film festivals in the USA – Ethos Film Awards 2026 and Dallas International Film Festival 2026.
At the ETHOS Film Awards festival held in Santa Monica (USA), the film “Palyanytsia” by directors Kadim Tarasov and Yulia Bolshynska became the only Ukrainian film in the official program of the festival and received an honorary award as a work that has a tangible impact and changes people and society for the sake of peace (Impact award for peace). The American premiere of the film for the general public took place at the Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF).
As you know, the ETHOS Film Awards, organized by the ETHOS Film Institute, unite filmmakers, activists, and educators from over 180 countries around the themes of peace, empathy, and social impact.
The Dallas International Film Festival, founded by the Dallas Film Society, brings together independent filmmakers, industry professionals, and audiences from around the world, presenting feature-length and short films of various genres and promoting the development of auteur cinema and cultural exchange.
