In 2023, every tenth new individual entrepreneur in Poland was a Ukrainian. At the same time, in 2022-2023, our fellow citizens registered 48,464 individual entrepreneurs in Poland.
With the help of the Diia.Business team, Ukrainian businesses have been opened in Warsaw since the beginning of the war:
- in Warsaw – 9,406;
- in Krakow – 2,661;
- in Wrocław – 2,128;
- in Poznan – 1,084;
- in Lublin – 1,033.
Ukrainians in Poland tend to set up businesses that require minimal investment in basic equipment and funds. The majority of them are services and online trading. However, other popular areas are:

- construction
- beauty industry
- consulting services
- tourism
- services in the real estate market
- coffee shops
- IT companies.
