The authorities of the Swiss city of Lugano have created an investment pool for startups. This initiative is related to cryptocurrency.

Local authorities are confident that this will attract investment to the city. This project is part of the city’s initiative to integrate bitcoin into its financial infrastructure and use blockchain in business projects.

Meanwhile, the total amount in the startup fund is more than 100 million Swiss francs ($110.5 million). Companies will receive assistance with issues related to the integration of bitcoin and LVGA token payments from the 3M CHF investment fund.

The foundation is also planning more than 500 grants to college students. The main goal is to help them prepare to start a career in blockchain technology. Recall that the authorities of Lugano legalized payments in VTS, USDT and LVGA in 2022. Therefore, today these cryptocurrencies are accepted in more than 150 retail outlets and businesses.
