The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has published an updated list of the best representatives of the heavyweight category as of March 2026. Ukrainian boxer Viktor Vikhryst has risen two positions and is currently in tenth place in the ranking. The change in position occurred after the successful defense of the belt in Budapest at the end of March.
The Ukrainian’s opponent was Polish boxer Mariusz Wach. According to the judges’ decision, Vikhryst was awarded the victory unanimously. For the Ukrainian athlete, this is the 18th victory in the professional ring with one defeat.
The WBO lists Fabio Wardley as the current world champion.
