The Glasgow Film Festival will screen U Are the Universe, a film by Ukrainian director Pavlo Ostrikov.
U Are the Universe is a sci-fi tragicomedy co-produced by Ukraine and Belgium. It was created with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency. According to the British Film Institute, it was included in the list of the best films in 2024.
The film won the Audience Award at the French Debut Film Festival.
At the 13th Paris International Fantastic Film Festival, U Are the Universe won two main prizes.
The film’s direction was also recognized at the Film Festival Cottbus in Germany.
