Ukraine received €7.2 billion in military aid from international partners in June, the highest monthly figure since April 2024.
According to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, the increase in support was due to new funding from the European Union. However, long-term aid volumes remain insufficient.
The June package was the largest since the cessation of US funding, which, according to the institute, ended in February 2025.
According to the Ukraine Support Tracker, the June volume of military aid was the third largest monthly figure among all support packages to Ukraine from international donors since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
In April 2024, Ukraine received the largest monthly volume of military aid — €9.04 billion.
European partners, according to the institute, remain by far the largest donors to Ukraine for the second year in a row – both in terms of military, financial and humanitarian assistance. A key event was the EU’s approval of the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan.
