Two Ukrainian film festivals receive grants from the EU's Creative Europe program

Odesa International Film Festival and Kyiv International Short Film Festival have received grants from the European Union’s Creative Europe program.

145 applications from 33 countries were submitted to the competition, and 95 projects from 31 countries were supported. Two well-known film festivals from Ukraine won.

In particular, the Odesa International Film Festival (OIFF) was founded to provide access to high-quality films for a broad audience in Ukraine, support the continuous growth of the Ukrainian film industry, and increase film literacy.

The OIFF is the largest film event in Ukraine and one of the largest in Eastern Europe in terms of the number of visitors.

It is also the Kyiv International Short Film Festival (KISFF), an annual film festival dedicated to worldwide screening of short films.

It is the largest short film festival in Ukraine. In addition to film screenings, the festival organizes open discussions, master classes, and other special events, bringing together filmmakers, professionals, and film fans.
