A report on the prerequisites for creating the Union of Ukrainians in Great Britain will be held in London. It will chronicle the events of 1945-46 related to Ukrainians who found themselves in Britain in the first half of the 1940s.
The report’s author, Roman Kravets, researches the history of Ukrainians in the UK.
He is the editor-in-chief of the British volume of the Encyclopedia of the Ukrainian Diaspora, published in the online encyclopedia Ukrainians in the UK, and the author of many articles in the encyclopedia.
Mr. Kravets has spent many years researching and studying documentary materials about Ukrainians in the UK.
The event, organized by the Association of Ukrainians in the UK, will take place on April 10 at 49 Linden Gardens, London, W2 4HG, GB. Participation is free of charge.
