U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed having a productive meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy and announced another meeting scheduled for the same day. During a conversation with journalists, Trump emphasized the necessity of reaching an agreement with Russia, noting the significant human losses on both sides. According to him, Russia suffered losses of 35,000 personnel last month, averaging around 25,000 per month. The U.S. President expressed concern over the further escalation of the conflict and highlighted the tension between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia.
Additionally, Trump mentioned conducting a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 14th. Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned discussing with Donald Trump the possibility of arranging negotiations with Putin in the United States to explore pathways to resolve the situation.
