The Ukrainian war drama Bucha, released on November 7, is now available on the global streaming platform Netflix. The film, based on the actual events of the Russian occupation of the Kyiv region in 2022, tells the story of a refugee from Kazakhstan who, thanks to his passport, can travel to the territory occupied by Russian troops and take out civilians.
The Bucha City Council announced that the drama is now available on streaming, emphasizing that the appearance of Bucha on Netflix is an important step in spreading the truth about the war in Ukraine and preserving the memory of these tragic events for future generations.
Prior to its premiere on Netflix, the film received a silver award at the prestigious Warsaw International Film Festival.
