In Denmark, an unknown person destroyed sculptures by Ukrainian artist Maria Kulikovska. They were part of the open-air exhibition My Body is a Battlefield on the Copenhagen waterfront.
The Spilne Art platform collaborated on the exhibition with Ukrainian House in Denmark, with support from the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. The incident was called a “blatant act of vandalism and violence against art.”
Thanks to the security system, the moment of destruction was recorded. The police arrived at the crime scene quickly. Now Spilne Art, the organizers of the exhibition, together with Ukrainian House in Denmark and local law enforcement officers, are investigating all the circumstances.
