During a charity auction at the “Entrepreneur of the Year 2025” event, world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk sold his WBC belt for one million dollars. The trophy was bought by the president of FC “Polissya”, Gennady Butkevych. The proceeds were crucial for closing the collection for the treatment of Matvey Nikityuk, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Matvey Nikityuk’s parents reported on social networks that the collection for the boy’s treatment had been closed. Alina Rudko also thanked everyone who joined the fundraising, because the total cost of the treatment is almost 3 million dollars.
