From January to April 2026, China’s overall passenger car sales in Ukraine totaled 900 units, a 43% decrease from the previous year. Specifically, 754 new cars were sold (-44%) and 146 used cars (-40%).
The distribution of fuel types among the purchased vehicles was as follows:
- electric cars, 52% (compared to 85% in May 2025);
- hybrid vehicles, 28%;
- gasoline-powered vehicles, 18%;
- and diesel-powered vehicles, 2%.
The most popular new models of Chinese passenger cars were:
- BYD Sea Lion 06 (89 units);
- BYD Song L (75 units);
- BYD Leopard 3 (57 units);
- ZEEKR 7X (39 units);
- CHERY Tiggo 4 (27 units).
Among used vehicles, the best-selling model was the ZEEKR 7X, with 18 units sold.
