n the summer of 2022, the iconic hat collection of Queen Elizabeth II welcomed a custom headpiece from Ukrainian designer Ruslan Baginskiy. Not to be left out, Kate Middleton and Queen Consort Camilla also got custom hats from the designer.
“On behalf of Her Majesty The Queen and Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, Nicholas Garrick, Temporarily Authorized in Affairs, received two special hats specially created by the renowned Ukrainian designer of headwear, Ruslan Baginskiy.
“These incredible creations honor centuries-old tradition and blend it with modern and innovative trends, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of our peoples and deepening the ties between Britons and Ukrainians.
“The handover ceremony took place in the courtyard of the British Embassy and was made possible thanks to the support of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Great Britain and Ukraine are strategic partners and true friends,” the statement from the British Embassy in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads, posted on Instagram.
