The fashion house Dior presented the first teaser for its cruise collection. The show took place on May 13 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
The atmospheric video was shot by Ukrainian photographers and directors, sisters Tanya and Zhenya Posternak. The black-and-white video references the aesthetics of Alfred Hitchcock’s cult films starring Grace Kelly, one of Christian Dior’s main muses.
The teaser was complemented by a series of photos in the style of classic Hollywood, which enhance the show’s mysterious mood.
The Posternak sisters moved from Kyiv to New York a few years ago. Since then, they have worked with The New York Times, American Vogue, The New Yorker, the British gallery Sadie Coles, and the brands Helmut Lang, Jacquemus, Hermès, and Mansur Gavriel. The latter even released a bag in honor of the girls, naming it Posternak.
