Polish IT consortium Euvic Group continues to expand its presence in Ukraine by acquiring a 51% stake in Diya’s shares. This was reported by Mergewave Capital, which acted as an advisor in the deal. The parties did not disclose the amount of the transaction, writes the Ukrainian edition of Forbes.
Diya, which specializes in implementing and supporting IT infrastructures, will retain its staff of over 60 employees. The company will operate under the Euvic Ukraine brand.
Representative Euvic Lukash Chernetsky noted that this deal is in line with the group’s global strategy for expansion in the IT service solutions segment. He emphasized that Diya fully meets Euvic’s high standards.
Diya co-owner Anatoliy Dobrynsky believes that joining Euvic Group opens up new opportunities for faster development and growth.
Euvic Group has already invested in four Ukrainian companies: Exoft, Artkai, 7Devs, and Lampa Software. Overall, Euvic Group aims to increase the number of its employees in Ukraine to over 1,000 people (currently over 500).
