Incrypted writes that almost 83% of cryptocurrency holders in Ukraine use digital assets for investment and value storage. This follows from the results of a sociological study conducted on behalf of MNBC.
The majority of the cryptocurrency audience is male — 80.2% — while only 19.8% are women.
The report shows that crypto assets are most popular among young people – 51.9% are aged 18 to 25.
14% of respondents consider themselves experts in the cryptocurrency sector, about 41% are advanced, 8.2% are beginners, and 37.2% have essential experience.
The majority of respondents use crypto assets as investments and stores of value. Another 61.8% use them for trading on exchanges, and 38.2% use them to pay for purchases.
About 68% mentioned Ethereum, more than half of the respondents said they hold stablecoins and 30.5% own bitcoin.
The survey involved over 800 respondents interviewed at crypto events in Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa. According to the study’s initiators, the study aims to identify critical trends among experts using cryptocurrencies.
