Harris' vice presidential candidate agrees to debate Trump's candidate

Tim Walls, who was chosen by presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris as her vice presidential candidate, has agreed to debate his Republican rival James David Vance on October 1.

This was reported by Reuters.

CBS News noted that it had provided four dates for the debate: September 17 and 24 and October 1 and 8.

James David Vance, in response to a question about possible debates, told Fox News: “I strongly suspect that we will be there on October 1.” He added that he wants to debate with Walls more than once.

Kamala Harris is not yet an official Democratic candidate, but she chose her vice presidential candidate on August 6. Tim Pawlenty is the governor of Minnesota, who is known for his support of Ukraine and his harsh criticism of Trump and Vance.
