The Ukrainian Defense Forces have carried out their first attack in the Kharkiv region using only unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and FPV drones.
Volodymyr Degtyarev, spokesman for the 13th Operational Brigade of the National Guard “Charter,” announced this” during a telethon.
The Charter soldiers conducted an operation in early December in the Kharkiv sector to create conditions for advancing the brigade’s units.
The battle took place near the village of Liptsi, north of Kharkiv. During the clash, the Russian positions were destroyed. The Ukrainian military attacked from dozens of UGVs equipped with machine guns. The UGVs were also used to clear the ground of mines. Various types of UAVs, including surveillance and FPV drones, were used against the enemy.
