Ukrainian director and author of the films “Klondike” and “Rotation”, Maryna Er Gorbach, was honored with the SEEfest Legacy Award 2026.
During the opening ceremony of the XXI Southeast European Film Festival SEEfest on April 29, the Ukrainian director was presented with the festival’s “For Achievement” award.
Among the Legacy Awards presented at SEEfest over the 21 years of the festival’s existence, only two Ukrainian women have been recognized – actress Oksana Cherkashyna and director Maryna Er Gorbach.
SEEfest will last until May 6 in Los Angeles. The program includes Ukrainian documentary films: “Militantropos” by Elizaveta Smith, Alina Gorlova, and Semyon Mozgovy, and “With Love from the Front” by Alisa Kovalenko.
