Ukraine, together with Finland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, created a multinational defense support coalition, CORPUS (Coalition for Resilient Procurement and Unified Support). This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine’s press service.
The memorandum was signed in Kyiv, Ukraine, by the Defense Procurement Agency and the SLO (State Logistics Operator) of the Ministry of Defense, and by procurement agencies from other countries.
Thanks to the coalition, Ukraine and partners will be able to coordinate procurement and develop cooperation. It was created to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
Other countries can also join CORPUS, provided that they join the memorandum and are supported by the Board of Directors. Kyiv, for its part, wants to scale up its experience in providing troops, and partners are interested in digital solutions, in particular, the SLO-Chain ecosystem.
