British director to stage play about Ukraine

British director Nicholas Kent will stage the play “Ukraine Unbroken” at London’s Arcola Theatre. One of the plays was written by Natalka Vorozhbyt.

“Ukraine Unbroken” tells the story of twelve years of modern Ukrainian history – from the Maidan protests of 2014 to the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022 and the events that followed.

The play will consist of five acts. The events will be held from February 27 to March 28, 2026.

Natalka Vorozhbyt is a Ukrainian writer, playwright, director, and screenwriter. She belongs to the “new drama” movement. Winner of the Women In Arts Award in 2020 and the Shevchenko Prize in 2022.
