Angelina Usanova performed a duet with Nino Katamadze at a charity concert in Vienna

At the Ferstel Palace in Vienna, “Miss Universe Ukraine – 2023” Angelina Usanova hosted the charitable musical evening PEACE. We Can Overcome War in support of the Chernivtsi orphanage “City of Good”.

The legendary Ferstel Palace (Palais Ferstel) is located in the heart of Vienna and is one of the best tourist attractions in the Austrian capital, embodying ancient traditions of Viennese classicism.The star-studded event included performances by singers Nino Katamadze and Tonya Matviyenko, conductor and composer Nikoloz Rachveli, dancers Elena Shoptenko and Igor Kobyuk, musician and violinist Marko Liubash, president of the “Miss Universe Ukraine” contest Anna Filimonova, and participants of the “Miss Universe” contest from European countries. The charity concert PEACE. We Can Overcome War became another compelling reason for the residents and guests of Vienna to come together to support Ukraine.

The program of the charitable musical evening featured Angelina Usanova’s original songs on the theme of peace in Ukraine and the world, ecology, and love: “Prayer”, Earth, Peace, Truth is love, and others. Angelina sang a duet with the Honored Artist of Ukraine Tonya Matviyenko the song “Flower-Soul”.Special guests of the evening were the world-renowned Georgian performer Nino Katamadze together with conductor and composer Nikoloz Rachveli, accompanied by a string quintet. Nino is known for her unique voice and virtuosic improvisations. Her distinctive style combines jazz, folk, and rock. She sings exclusively in Georgian. The only song she does not perform in her native language is the Ukrainian song “Chornobryvtsi”. The Georgian jazz diva also performed this, one of the most famous Ukrainian songs, in a duet with Angelina Usanova, which caused a storm of applause and ovations from the audience.

“Good deeds can never be too much. As long as the war continues, we must come together and do even more than possible to bring the long-awaited peace closer,” commented Nino Katamadze on her participation in the event.

Responsible for the dance program of the charity concert PEACE. We Can Overcome War were the two-time world champion in ballroom dancing in 2006 Olena Shoptenko and her partner Igor Kobyuk, a two-time champion of Ukraine among professionals in the European dance program.

Another special guest of the evening was Marko Liubash – a talented young Ukrainian violinist in the fourth generation.During the charity event, the start of an online auction was announced, where all interested parties will be able to purchase exclusive designer dresses, in which Angelina Usanova represented Ukraine at the “Miss Universe – 2023” contest in El Salvador. These dresses are from FROLOV, Jamemme, A.M.G, Schiaparelli, Max Mara, and other designers. In total, about 12 lots will be put up for auction, and they can be purchased within a month. All proceeds from the auction will go to support the Chernivtsi orphanage “City of Good”.

“I am saddened to hear the stories of Ukrainians who have suffered from the war. I cannot remain indifferent. I see that the world is starting to forget about Ukraine, so the goal of my event is to remind people about Russian aggression against Ukraine and to help the youngest Ukrainians who have suffered from it,” Angelina Usanova said.

Another charity event organized by the Angelina Usanova Foundation took place the day before. At the Vienna restaurant of the DO&CO Hotel Vienna the WINTERGARTEN, a charity dinner Universe of Beauty was held, attended by participants of the “Miss Universe” contest, namely “Miss Universe Switzerland” Lorena Santen, “Miss Universe Albania” Endi Demneri, “Miss Universe Germany” Helena Bleicher, and “Miss Universe Denmark” Nicolina Hansen.Also present at the dinner were the president of the “Miss Universe Ukraine” contest Anna Filimonova and the legendary singer from Georgia Nino Katamadze. All proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to the Nino Katamadze Foundation.
