For the second time, the Ministry of Culture of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has granted 35 thousand euros to support Ukrainian artists within the framework of cooperation with the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation launched last year.
According to the signed agreement, the funds will support Ukrainian artists through the grant program “Scholarship for the Restoration of Cultural and Artistic Activities,” which will increase the number of potential winners this year.
According to UCF Executive Director Vladyslav Berkovsky, the foundation has once again proved to be an effective and transparent institution with fair financial support. This is confirmed by the continuation of the UCF’s cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Luxembourg, which began in 2023.
“Let’s remember that Ukraine is in a situation of limited public funding due to Russia’s armed aggression when all resources are directed to the needs of the military. That is why we are making every effort to keep increasing the number of our donors, and we thank those who have already become them,” he added.
The scholarship holders will be funded according to the rating register, and the stage of negotiation procedures and signing of contracts with the winners will last until June 1 inclusive.
