The newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden, Svitlana Zalishchuk, officially presented her credentials to His Majesty the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf.
The ceremony was an opportunity to express gratitude on behalf of Ukraine for the political, military, and humanitarian support that Sweden has provided to our state since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
During the personal meeting, His Majesty was interested in the situation on the front and the mood of the Ukrainians, emphasizing that both he and the entire royal family firmly stand on the side of Ukraine.
In turn, the Ambassador emphasized the strength of Ukrainian-Swedish relations, which have strengthened even more during times of adversity. She noted that one of the main tasks of her diplomatic mission will be the further development of the partnership between the two states.
