The Canadian city of Mississauga has renamed the local Gulleden Park in honor of its Ukrainian sister city. From now on, it will officially be called Ternopil Park.
“This place will remind residents and visitors of Mississauga every day about the Ukrainian city, its people, and the invincibility of Ukraine,” the Ternopil city council wrote.
Ternopil officially became a sister city of Mississauga at the end of May this year.
