Americans made a documentary about the Ukrainian restaurant Veselka in New York. Actor David Duchovny, internationally recognized as the leading “propagandist” for Ukrainian borscht, provided the voiceover for this documentary, which is sold there by the ton.
The film will be released on February 23. Director Michael Fiore will discuss how Veselka assists Ukraine during a full-scale war. The film also highlights the history of the facility and the relationship between its owners, father and son Tom and Jason Birchard.
