Ukrainian Fashion Week and Copenhagen Fashion Week continue their partnership, marking the fifth season of cooperation. This time, Ukrainian brands J’AMEMME, KATERINA KVIT, OMELIA, PLNGNS and SIDLETSKIY presented their collections in Copenhagen.
The theme of the Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25 Presentation installation was Askania-Nova, one of the oldest biosphere reserves on the planet and the largest protected steppe area in Europe, which is now suffering from the consequences of the Russian occupation every day. Species of plants and animals native to the reserve have become ornaments for traditional Ukrainian vytynanky. With the movement of the sun, the shadows of the vytynanky came to life, becoming a living work of art that changed throughout the presentation.
