The Ziferblat band has arrived in Basel, where this year’s Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be held. The band members, Daniil, Valentyn Leshchinsky, and Fedir Khodakov, have already shown the costumes created for them by Ukrainian fashion designer Ivan Frolov. In Basel, Ziferblat was greeted by a Ukrainian delegation with flags and blue and yellow balloons.
Ziferblat’s Eurovision 2025 costumes were created by Ukrainian fashion designer Ivan Frolov, the FROLOV brand’s founder, who collaborates with famous Ukrainian and international stars. Ivan Frolov has discussed the inspiration behind his outfits for Ziferblat. Each of the band’s outfits has been inspired by the Malva, the national flower of Ukraine.
By the way, Ziferblat has already held its first rehearsal in Basel, which is forbidden to film. However, some details of the performance are still known. It is reported that there will be no flower field on the stage, as at the National Selection, pink and green graphic elements on the screen, and special effects will include smoke and fireworks. The musicians have slightly improved the song, adding dynamic elements and sound effects.
Ukraine will perform in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on May 13. The band Ziferblat will take the stage at number 5 with its entry song Bird of Pray.
The second semi-final is scheduled for May 15, and the grand final is on May 17.
Jerry Heil will be the spokesperson for Ukraine at Eurovision 2025. The artist will announce the scores from the National Jury live at the Grand Final.
