Ukravtoprom states that 51.7 thousand electric vehicles (BEVs) were added to the Ukrainian fleet in 2024.
The highest rates of registration of these cars were demonstrated by:
- Lviv region – 7314 units (91% used);
- Kyiv city – 6618 units (61% used);
- Kyiv region – 3907 units (70% used);
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 3874 units (73% used);
- Odesa region – 3025 units (76% used).
In terms of new cars, the most popular electric car in these markets was the VW ID.4.
In the segment of used cars imported from abroad:
- Tesla Model Y – in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region.
- Nissan Leaf is in the Odesa and Lviv regions.
