The Union of Ukrainians of Romania (UUR), led by Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) Vice President for Eastern Europe Mykola-Myroslav Petretsky, organized a roundtable discussion entitled “730 days of War in the Heart of Europe: consequences, realities, and Perspectives on the regional and global levels” at the Parliament Palace in Bucharest.
The event was attended by more than 100 officials from Romania, Ukraine, and the Republic of Moldova: parliamentarians, diplomats, representatives of local state administration from Romania, Ukraine, and the Republic of Moldova, representatives of academia and religious circles, experts, members of the Ukrainian community.
The discussion focused on several priorities, such as trilateral cooperation and Romania’s support for Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, prospects for European integration of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, Russian aggression as a threat to stability, security, and democracy in the region, engaging the diaspora in supporting Ukraine and rebuilding and strengthening Ukraine.
