The Ukrainian national team won 7 medals — 5 gold and 2 bronze — in the finals of the World Cup in Underwater Sports (fin swimming) in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
According to the Federation of Underwater Sports and Underwater Activities of Ukraine, 467 athletes from 18 countries competed for the awards, three of whom represented Ukraine.
The “gold” in our team was won by Veronika Vorobyova (800 m, fin swimming), Veronika Vorobyova (1500 m, fin swimming), Sofia Grechko (400 m, fin swimming), Sofia Grechko (200 m, fin swimming), and Oleksiy Zakharov (400 m, fin swimming).
“Bronze” in the piggy bank of Veronika Vorobyova (400 m, finswimming) and Sofia Grechko (50 m, finswimming).
