In 8 months of 2025, 61.7 thousand electric cars were imported into Ukraine, 52% more than in the same period last year. Such statistics are published by the Ukravtoprom association.
In total, 1.27 billion dollars’ worth of electric cars were imported into Ukraine. 14.6 thousand new cars were imported, which is 26% more than last year. Their total value is 363.5 million dollars.
The vast majority of new electric cars (92%) are imported from China. In second place with a considerable lag is Japan (3%), and in third place is Germany (2%).
47.6 thousand used electric cars were imported, representing a 62% increase. Their value is 906.3 million dollars.
The most significant number of used electric vehicles was imported from the United States, accounting for 40% of the total. South Korea came in second (16%), and Germany came in third (15%).
