The Eternal Memory stamp, dedicated to fallen service members, became the best postage stamp in 2023, Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smelyansky said.
The Eternal Memory stamp was used on the Day of Remembrance of the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine, August 29. The stamp depicts a Cossack bandura player bowing his head over the graves of his comrades.
The best postal block was recognized as “Ukrainian Christmas carols in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.”
These stamps depict the celebration of Christmas according to the new calendar in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, which happened for the first time in many years.
