A brief biography of the President
Zelensky began his journey in Kryvyi Rih, Dnepropetrovsk region. The President was born in 1978 in the family of a professor of cybernetics. Due to his father’s work in his childhood, he lived for four years in the Mongolian Erdenet. Returning to Kryvyi Rih, the future President became seriously interested in creativity – he played in the theater of miniatures. In 1995-2000, he studied at the Kyiv National Economic University, specializing in jurisprudence, and qualified as a lawyer. At the university, he joined the local KVN team “Zaporizhzhya-Kryvyi Rih-Transit.” From 1997 to 2003, he was an actor, scriptwriter, and artistic director of the KVN “Kvartal 95” team from 2003-2011.
