At the European Junior Modern Pentathlon Championship, the Ukrainian national team won three gold medals. In total, the national team was represented at these competitions by six athletes.

The continental championship was held in the Spanish city of Barcelona from June 29 to July 5. According to the tournament results, Ukrainian pentathletes took first place in three disciplines.
Oleh Rybak won a gold medal in the individual championship. He won another “gold” in the men’s relay paired with Danylo Sych. The Ukrainian national team won the third gold medal in the team competition — first place was taken by Oleh Rybak, Danylo Sych and Maksym Kovalchuk.
