Ukrainian Startup Creatio Raises $200 Million and Achieves Unicorn Status with $1.2 Billion Valuation

The developer of a no-code platform for business process automation and CRM, Creatio, has raised $200 million, becoming the sixth unicorn with Ukrainian roots.

With the latest investment, Creatio has achieved a valuation of $1.2 billion, placing it alongside other Ukrainian unicorns such as GitLab, People.ai, Grammarly, Unstoppable Domains, and AirSlate.

Founded and led by CEO Kateryna Kostereva, who hails from Kyiv and currently resides and conducts business in the United States, Creatio’s minority funding round was led by Sapphire Ventures with participation from StepStone Group. Existing investor Volition Capital also joined the round.

The funding will be directed towards strengthening the company’s global expansion efforts. Creatio is currently active in 25 countries, including a significant R&D center in Kyiv, while its headquarters are located in Boston, USA.

According to an official statement, Creatio has been experiencing rapid 50% annual business growth, expanding its customer base and partner network through product development and investment in R&D.

In the near future, the company plans to automate processes and enhance user productivity through AI.
