Ukrainian track and field athlete Lyudmila Olyanovska won bronze at the European Championships in the half-marathon race walk. The Ukrainian finished in 1:31:07, setting a new national record.
In the fight for second place, Olyanovska lost only three seconds to Italian Alexandrina Mihai (1:31:04). Overall, Lyudmila Olyanovska’s medal was the third for the Ukrainian team at this year’s European Athletics Championships.
