The Ukrainian national judo team won three medals at the European Open tournament. The tournament brought together 400 participants from 34 countries this weekend in Gyor, Hungary.
It was the first time that Yaroslav Davydchuk climbed to the podium of a competition of this level. He immediately won a gold medal in the 90 kg weight category. Ivan Kutenkov won bronze in the same weight category, defeating his compatriot Artem Bubyr in a consolation match. Another bronze medal went to Oleksiy Yershov, who competed in the 100 kg weight category.
