“Ukrainian Day” will be held as part of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. The event is scheduled for September 3. It will be held at the Biennale Match Point Arena. It will start at 10:00.
The event will consist of two blocks.
The first block will feature a panel discussion, during which the international community will get to know modern Ukrainian cinema and the current state of the Ukrainian film industry, learn more about co-production opportunities, and discuss the prospects for future cooperation with Ukraine.
The event’s speakers include Andriy Osipov, head of the State Film and Television Agency of Ukraine; Andriy Nogin, head of the public organization “UkrKinoFest”, director of the film “Inaccessible”, presented in the Orizzonti Short Films competition program of the Venice Film Festival, Kyrylo Zemlyanyi, and representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy.
The second block will feature 11 Ukrainian feature films at the Work in Progress stage.
