Ukrainian created an application for making coffee at home

Former marketing director of Monobank, Anatolii Rogalsky, developed the CoCoffee application for making coffee at home.

The idea for the project arose after a discussion on the social network Threads. The author published a post saying he does not understand the regular consumption of other coffee drinks, except for filter coffee or Americano, according to a specific recipe.

The discussion in the comments prompted him to develop the topic and create a tool for those who want to turn coffee making into a ritual and better understand their own tastes. The developer calls his product an analog of the popular Vivino service, but in the field of coffee.

The main function of CoCoffee is to instantly select a recipe. The user just needs to take a picture of a pack of coffee beans, after which the program will suggest the best way to brew it to reveal the taste. If you have a compatible smart coffee machine, the app can automatically send settings directly to your device. All instructions are also suitable for manual brewing methods such as a V60 pourover or AeroPress.

In addition to the basic features, the app also allows you to keep a personal “coffee passport.” Users can save and edit their own recipes, share their favorites with friends, and follow what other people are making.
