Crimean Tatar musician becomes a member of the Grammy Award jury

Crimean Tatar jazz musician Usein Bekirov has become a member of the American Recording Academy. From now on, he will be able to participate in determining the laureates of the world’s most prestigious music award – the Grammys.

Usein Bekirov is a famous composer, arranger, and sound producer who is a member of the National Union of Composers. In 2021, he received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. During his career, he was nominated for a Grammy Award three times.

The musician wrote that membership in the Academy is a great honor for him and an additional incentive to create music and worthily represent Ukraine on the international stage.
