Ukrainian biathlete Ksenia Prykhodko won third place in the women’s mass start as part of the 2025/2026 IBU Junior Cup.
This podium was the first international award in her career for Ksenia Prykhodko. This is also the second podium for the Ukrainian biathlon team at international starts this season.
In the mass start, Prykhodko finished with three misses. Her gap to the winner, the Frenchwoman Dupont Ballet Ba, was less than 10 seconds (+9.7). Selina Ganner from Austria took second place.
In addition to Prykhodko’s bronze medal, the Ukrainian national team achieved strong results. Two more Ukrainians finished in the top ten.
Iryna Shevchenko finished the race in eighth place (+36.8). Alina Khmil took tenth place (+37.7). Other Ukrainian biathletes: Polina Putsko finished 14th (+52.3), and Viktoria Khvostenko finished 22nd (+1:47.4).
