Ukraine’s public debt increased by UAH 87 billion in January

The number of bankrupts in Ukraine is increasing to a record high

Ukraine’s public and publicly guaranteed debt increased by UAH 87.03 billion to UAH 7.07 trillion in January 2025. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

In particular, as of January 31, 2025, Ukraine’s public and publicly guaranteed debt amounted to UAH 7.07 trillion, or $168.99 billion.

In January 2025, Ukraine’s public and publicly guaranteed debt increased by UAH 87.03 billion in the hryvnia equivalent and by USD 2.93 billion in the dollar equivalent.

The state and state-guaranteed external debt amounted to UAH 5.14 trillion (72.74% of the total), or $122.9 billion; state and state-guaranteed domestic debt amounted to UAH 1.93 trillion (27.26%), or $46.07 billion.

Ukraine’s public debt amounted to UAH 6.78 trillion (95.91% of the total public and publicly guaranteed debt), or $162.08 billion.

The state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 289.08 billion (4.09%), or $6.91 billion.
