Ukravtoprom reports that in 2024, 61,977 passenger electric vehicles (BEVs) were imported to Ukraine, up 32% year over year. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Service.
Of the total, 16,474 cars were new (+52%), and 45,503 were used (+26%).
New cars
It is noted that, most often, new electric cars were imported from China.
Top 5 countries supplying new electric vehicles:
- China – 14,635 units;
- Japan – 552 units;
- Germany – 382 units;
- Great Britain – 368 units;
- Belgium – 216 units.
Used cars
At the same time, the United States was the leader in the supply of used electric vehicles.
Top 5 countries supplying used electric vehicles:
- USA – 17,235 units;
- Germany – 7,318 units;
- Korea – 6,274 units;
- Great Britain – 4,180 units;
- China – 2,573 units.
